fixing the back porch

I should have thought to take pictures of our renovation of the back porch today. bummer. we finally covered the picnic table benches... that was fun... then we hosed down everything. that was also fun. we went major shopping at ikea (end of tax season sale!) and target and goodwill and bought a bunch of lights and lanterns and plants. and somewhere in there we went to anaheim stadium to walk around on the field and practice for tomorrow's big shindig. still not really looking forward to it, but luckily everyone will (finally) be in my half of the oc, and we can have everyone over for bbq. yummy.

i think i actually read five pages of burke today. i feel amazingly productive, considering....
