atonement
so I finally read Atonement. I've been wanting to forever. I'll say this - it was beautiful, but it broke my heart. If you haven't already, you should read it.
It's cold here and I'm hungry. Mom has convinced me to go in for a blood test since I've been so tired and everything. It's not that I hate doctors per say but more that I hate doctor's offices. We'll see.

That title sounded so familiar to me that I had to look it up...it's by Ian McEwan, right? I totally checked that out from the library one time cause I think it was recommended in Oprah's magazine as a good summer read, but I didn't actually read it (as I'm in the habit of doing). Perhaps I should give it another go though, if it's really that wonderful. I'm always looking for a good book... :)
I hope the blood test goes well! It's probably just the weather getting to you...the cold tends to reinforce the warmth of the bed and detract the desire of movement (esp. outside), for fear of a cold breeze. I know that spring, so far, has not made much difference with the temperature....I think it's actually colder than it was in January! :P
Yeah, I hope the blood test went well, too. Does your mom think you're anemic or something else?

anyway, the blood tests came back negative for anemia, so they're kind of stumped as to what's wrong with me. i'll keep you posted. . .
